Metonymy
Metonymy - a word whose meaning is transferred to the name of another object, associated with the inherent to the given word by the subject of its nature. For example, such a statement as "the whole theater applauded" includes a metonymy expressed by the word "theater". Do not use this word in direct, but in figurative sense, since, in saying that, we mean what theater did not applaud, and the viewers who were in it. In this case, the concept of "theater" and "viewers" are closely interrelated, acting as close by nature, real, and not conditionally, as is the case in the metaphor.
