Confession

Une confession est une déclaration faite par une personne ou un groupe de personnes reconnaissant un fait personnel que la personne préfère rester cachée. Le terme est généralement associé à l'admission d'un faux moral ou juridique. Une confession juridique est l'admission de certaines infractions qui ont une conséquence juridique, alors qu'une confession dans la religion est généralement plus proche d'un rituel par lequel la personne reconnaît des pensées ou des actions considérées comme pécheresse ou moralement fausses dans les limites de la religion du confesseur.
