Ulam
Ulam peut être définie comme faisant partie de la plante composée de pousses, de feuilles, de tiges, d'umbut, de graines, de fruits, de tubercules et de fleurs consommées crues, teintes, distillées ou bouillies avant les repas. Souvent pour ajouter de la saveur aux repas comestibles, il est atteint avec le sambal belacan, le budu, le cencaluk, la mayonnaise ou d'autres fractions. Habituellement inclus avec du riz et d'autres plats d'accompagnement.
