Kojiki

Kojiki - écrit en 712 par Ō no Yasumaro à l'ordre de l'impératrice Gemmei, une œuvre destinée à être l'histoire officielle du Japon. Il se compose de trois rouleaux: ▪ Le premier décrit le processus de division du ciel et de la terre, créant le Japon, et envoyant le petit-fils divin à la terre; ▪ la seconde est l'histoire du premier empereur du Japon, le légendaire Jimmu et la description du règne de quinze souverains successifs; Le troisième est l'histoire de dix-huit dirigeants successifs, se terminant avec l'impératrice Suiko. Kojiki est le premier ouvrage historiographique japonais subsistant. Probablement basé sur des sources antérieures. Le texte a été écrit en caractères chinois en termes de sens ou phonétique. Kojiki a été publié en 1986. Le livre a été traduit et co-écrit par le professeur de l'Université de Varsovie Wiesław Kotański, une autorité mondiale dans la recherche sur Kojiki. Auparavant, en 1983, une étude a été publiée par Iskry, une histoire japonaise sur les dieux, également par Kotański.

Składa się z trzech zwojów: ▪ pierwszy opisuje proces rozdzielenia nieba i ziemi, stworzenia Japonii oraz zesłanie boskiego wnuka na ziemię; ▪ drugi to dzieje pierwszego cesarza Japonii, legendarnego Jimmu i opis panowania piętnastu kolejnych władców; ▪ trzeci to dzieje osiemnastu kolejnych władców, kończące się na cesarzowej Suiko. Kojiki jest pierwszym zachowanym japońskim dziełem historiograficznym. Prawdopodobnie powstało na podstawie wcześniejszych źródeł. Tekst został spisany znakami chińskimi traktowanymi znaczeniowo lub fonetycznie. W Polsce Kojiki opublikowana została po raz pierwszy w 1986 roku. Księgę przetłumaczył i opatrzył przypisami profesor Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, Wiesław Kotański, światowy autorytet w badaniach nad Kojiki. Wcześniej, w roku 1983, nakładem wydawnictwa Iskry pojawiło się studium na ten temat, Japońskie opowieści o bogach, również autorstwa Kotańskiego.
