L'un des avantages de la carrière est qu'il n'y a pas de restrictions d'âge et vous n'avez pas besoin d'être un modèle. Plus que de la beauté, il faut du talent et de l'expérience pour travailler avec le public. Et la profession n'est pas exclusive aux femmes. Pas tellement dans la minorité il y a aussi beaucoup d'hommes avec cette profession. Ce sont les hôtes.

Nascida nos Estados Unidos, a função tem conquistado o mercado comercial e social de todo o Mundo. As hostess são responsáveis por dar atendimento ao cliente da forma mais correta possível, sempre evitando imprevistos. Para ser uma boa profissional, a hostess precisa conhecer o produto ou marca a promover e todos os sectores do local onde trabalha, além de ter noções de etiqueta e boas maneiras; cerimonial e protocolo; coordenação e recepção de eventos; atendimento ao cliente; moda; maquiagem, entre outros. É a forma ideal de contactar com o público promovendo positivamente o que deseja. Uma das vantagens da carreira é que não há restrições de idade e não precisa ser modelo para exercer a função. Mais do que beleza, é preciso talento e experiência para trabalhar com o público. E a profissão não é exclusiva para mulheres. Já não tanto em minoria também existem muitos homens com esta profissão. Estes são os "hosts".
