Tabu

Le tabou est une interdiction sociale très puissante définie comme sacrée ou intouchable par rapport à certains domaines du comportement humain ou à certaines normes. Il a commencé à être pris et utilisé par les ethnologues de langues polynésiennes. Il a une structure contradictoire, comme dans les objets «sacrés», et il a deux significations opposées. Les choses "sacrées" et "contaminées" peuvent être taboues. Par exemple, les personnes «polluées» devraient être séparées des objets «sacrés». Les mots utilisés dans de nombreux dictionnaires contre "Tabu" portent également deux sens opposés. La séparation des patients et des mesures du reste de la société est une tradition depuis le début. Certains tabous concernent les femmes, la sexualité, la naissance ou certains événements. Manger un coq mort dans un tatouage, tuer un animal domestique de la maison sous le pistolet du reis, et ainsi de suite. Certains tabous sont temporaires, tandis que d'autres sont continus pour certaines périodes. Certaines zones cosmiques ou sacrées, des endroits où personne n'a osé s'approcher, comme certaines tombes. Aujourd'hui, certaines traditions proviennent involontairement des tablettes.

Tabu, insan davranışlarının belli alanları ya da belli normlarla ilişkili olarak kutsal veya dokunulmaz olarak tanımlanmış oldukça güçlü sosyal yasaklara denir. "Tabu" karşılığında birçok dilde kullanılan sözcükler de iki zıt anlamı birden taşırlar. Hastaları ve ölüleri toplumun geri kalanından ayırmak en eski zamandan beri bir gelenektir. Bazı tabular ise kadınlara, cinselliğe, doğuma veya belli olaylara yöneliktir. Dövüşte ölmüş bir horozu yemek, reisi silah altında olan bir evin erkek hayvanını öldürmek vb. Bazı tabular geçici, belli dönemler içinken bazıları süreklidir. Bazı kozmik ya da kutsal sayılan bölgeler, kimsenin yaklaşmaya cesaret edemediği yerler, bazı mezarlar gibi. Bugün farkında olmadan uygulanan bazı gelenekler de tabulardan kaynaklanmıştır.
