Licență
Licența de verb sau licența de acordare a permisiunii de a da permisiunea. Licența de licență (engleză engleză) sau licență (engleza engleză, engleză indiană, engleză canadiană, engleză australiană, engleză nouă, africană sud-africană) se referă la acea permisiune, precum și la documentul care înregistrează permisiunea respectivă. O licență poate fi acordată de o parte ("licențiator") unei alte părți ("licențiat") ca element al unui acord între acele părți. O definire a unei licențe este o "autorizație (de către licențiator) de a utiliza materialul licențiat (de către licențiat)". În special, o autoritate poate emite o licență pentru a permite o activitate care altfel ar fi interzisă. Poate necesita plata unei taxe si / sau dovedirea unei capacitati. Cerința poate servi, de asemenea, pentru a informa autoritățile în legătură cu un tip de activitate și pentru a le oferi ocazia de a stabili condiții și limitări. Un licențiator poate acorda o licență în conformitate cu legislația privind proprietatea intelectuală pentru a autoriza o utilizare (cum ar fi copierea de software sau utilizarea unei invenții (brevetate)) unui licențiat, care să păstreze titularul de licență de la o cerere de încălcare a dreptului comunitar introdusă de licențiator.
