Negare
În logică, negarea, numită și completare logică, este o operație care în esență ia o propoziție p la o altă propoziție "nu p", scrisă ¬p, interpretată intuitiv ca fiind adevărată când p este falsă și falsă când p este adevărată. Negarea este astfel o legătură logică unară. Poate fi aplicată ca o operație pe propoziții, valori ale adevărului sau valori semantice mai general. În logica clasică, negarea este în mod normal identificată cu funcția adevărului care ia adevărul la falsitate și invers. În logica intuiționistă, conform interpretării Brouwer-Heyting-Kolmogorov, negarea unei propoziții p este propoziția a cărei dovezi sunt refuzațiile p.
