Tratat
Un tratat este un acord în temeiul dreptului internațional încheiat de actorii din dreptul internațional, și anume statele suverane și organizațiile internaționale. Un tratat poate fi, de asemenea, cunoscut ca un acord, protocol, convenție, convenție, pact sau schimb de scrisori, printre alți termeni. Indiferent de terminologie, toate aceste forme de acorduri sunt, în temeiul dreptului internațional, tratate în egală măsură tratate, iar regulile sunt aceleași. Tratatele pot fi libere în comparație cu contractele: ambele sunt mijloace ale părților care dorește să-și asume obligații între ele și o parte care nu respectă obligațiile lor poate fi trasă la răspundere în temeiul dreptului internațional.
Definiția treaty în dicționarul Engleză
