Energúmeno

It is understood by an energetic person possessed by the spirits of the same evil as one possessed of the Devil. This Greek word means in its origin agitated inwardly. According to Thomas Aquinas is the one who because of melancholic earthly humor loses reason. And to this likeness are called the devilish. All the catechumens are according to the same Saint, energetic us by the power that the demon has on them and for which reason they must be exorcised. In familiar language, we call energeumenos to those people who are noticed by the vehemence of certain feelings and by the exaggeration with which they express them, to all those that we denominate frenetic, furious, rapacious, crazy of tying, rabiosamente choleric, etc.
