Axiome
Un axiome, ou un postulat, est une prémisse ou un point de départ du raisonnement. Comme l'a conçu classiquement, un axiome est une prémisse si évidente qu'il faut accepter comme vraie sans controverse. Le mot provient du ἀξίωμα grec (āxīoma), ce qui est considéré comme digne ou en forme "ou" ce qui se félicite comme il est évident ". Tel qu'utilisé dans la logique moderne, un axiome est simplement une prémisse ou un point de départ pour le raisonnement. Les axiomes définissent et délimitent le domaine de l'analyse; La vérité relative d'un axiome est prise pour acquis dans le domaine particulier de l'analyse et sert de point de départ pour déduire et inférer d'autres vérités relatives. Aucune vision explicite de la vérité absolue des axiomes n'est jamais prise dans le contexte des mathématiques modernes, car une telle chose est considérée comme une contradiction non pertinente et impossible en termes. En mathématiques, le terme axiome est utilisé dans deux sens apparentés mais distinctifs: «axiomes logiques» et «axiomes non logiques». Les axiomes logiques sont généralement des déclarations qui sont considérées comme vraies dans le système de logique qu'ils définissent (par exemple, (A et B) impliquent A), alors que les axiomes non logiques (par ex.
