Allah

Allah, Allah, Allah - en arabe, le mot signifiant le dieu abrahamique. Initialement, le mot Allah était utilisé par les Arabes païens pour décrire le dieu de la lune - Sina, dérivé du dieu sumérien de la lune Nanny, et par les Arabes chrétiens pour identifier Dieu. Bien qu'il soit traditionnellement associé à l'Islam, le mot Allah n'est pas spécifique à cette religion. Aussi parmi les Arabes pré-islamiques et chrétiens les mots Allah / Alihah signifient la même chose que les Juifs d'Eloh / Elohim ont défini Dieu dans le sens monothéiste. Le mot Allah apparaît entre autres sur les inscriptions d'Umm al-Jimi. À partir de l'époque de Mahomet, il a commencé à signifier pour les musulmans seulement en arabe abrahamique, et par conséquent, bien qu'il soit linguistiquement pluriel et féminin, ces formes grammaticales ne sont pas utilisées actuellement, au moins chez les musulmans.

Allah, Allach, Ałłach – w języku arabskim słowo oznaczające abrahamicznego Boga. Początkowo słowo Allah było wykorzystywane zarówno przez pogańskich Arabów do określania boga Księżyca - Sina, wywodzącego się od sumeryjskiego boga księżyca Nanny, jak i przez chrześcijańskich Arabów do określania Boga. Pomimo że jest tradycyjnie kojarzone z islamem, słowo Allah nie jest specyficzne dla tej religii. Także wśród przedislamskich i chrześcijańskich Arabów słowami Allah/Alihah oznaczającymi to samo co u żydów Eloh/Elohim określano Boga w rozumieniu monoteistycznym. Słowo Allah występuje między innymi na inskrypcji z Umm al-Dżimal. Od czasów Mahometa zaczęło ono oznaczać dla muzułmanów w języku arabskim wyłącznie abrahamicznego Boga i dlatego chociaż ma ono lingwistycznie liczbę mnogą i rodzaj żeński, to te formy gramatyczne nie są obecnie stosowane, przynajmniej wśród muzułmanów.
