Riga (/ riːɡə /; Letão: Rīga, pronunciada (escute)) é a capital e maior cidade da Letónia. Com 693.064 habitantes (janeiro de 2014), Riga é a maior cidade dos estados bálticos e abriga mais de um terço da população da Letônia. A cidade fica no Golfo de Riga, na foz do Daugava. O território de Riga abrange 307,17 km2 (118,60 milhas quadradas) e situa-se entre 1 e 10 metros acima do nível do mar, em planície plana e arenosa. Riga foi fundada em 1201 e é ex-membro da Liga Hanseática. O centro histórico de Riga é Património Mundial da UNESCO, conhecido por sua arquitetura Art Nouveau / Jugendstil e arquitetura de madeira do século XIX. A cidade é a capital europeia da cultura durante 2014, juntamente com Umeå na Suécia. A cidade organizou a Cúpula da OTAN de 2006, o Eurovision Song Contest 2003 e os Campeonatos Mundiais de Hóquei no Gelo Masculino de 2006 da IIHF. É o lar do escritório da União Européia de Reguladores Europeus para Comunicações Eletrônicas (BEREC). Riga é servido pelo aeroporto internacional de Riga, o maior aeroporto dos estados bálticos.
