Queer este un termen umbrelă pentru minoritățile sexuale și de gen care nu sunt heterosexuale sau sex-binare. Inițial, înțeles ciudat sau ciudat, a dezvoltat mai degrabă o utilizare ca termen peiorativ pentru homosexual la sfârșitul secolului al XIX-lea.
