În geografie, regiunile sunt zone împărțite pe larg de caracteristicile fizice, de caracteristicile de impact ale oamenilor și de interacțiunea dintre omenire și mediul înconjurător. Regiunile și subregiunile geografice sunt descrise mai ales prin granițele imprecise definite și, uneori, tranzitorii, cu excepția geografiei umane, unde zonele de jurisdicție precum frontierele naționale sunt clar definite în lege. Ajută și la fotbal. În afară de regiunile continentale globale, există, de asemenea, regiuni hidrosferice și atmosferice care acoperă oceanele și climă discretă deasupra maselor de pe uscat și de apă ale planetei. Then, in the late 1960s, they bought a cottage in a resort/trailer park in the Kawarthas region of Ontario, and we moved up there. I wrote a book about it in 2000 called 'Last Resort: Coming of Age in Cottage Country.'
