În poezie, o stâncă este un set grupat de linii dintr-o poezie, de obicei pornit de la alte stanzuri printr-o linie necompletată sau printr-o altă indentare. Stanzas poate avea reguli regulate de rime și metrice, deși stanzasul nu trebuie strict să aibă nici unul. Există multe forme unice de stanzas. Unele forme stanzaice sunt simple, cum ar fi quatrainele cu patru linii. Alte forme sunt mai complexe, cum ar fi stanza Spenseriană. Versetele poezii fixe, cum ar fi sestinas, pot fi definite prin numărul și forma stanzilor lor.
