Cider
Cider is a low-grade alcoholic beverage made from fermented apple juice. The word "cider" comes from the Latin "sicera", which in turn comes from the Hebrew "shekar", with the meaning of intoxicating drink. The same happens with the French word "cidre" and the English word "cider". The exception is marked by the Basque language and in German, as two non-Romance languages have their own words not derived from Latin.
