Causalité

La causalité est la relation entre un événement et un second événement, où le deuxième événement est compris comme une conséquence de la première. Dans l'usage commun, la causalité est aussi la relation entre un ensemble de facteurs et un phénomène. Tout ce qui affecte un effet est un facteur de cet effet. Un facteur direct est un facteur qui affecte directement un effet, c'est-à-dire sans aucun facteur intervenant. La connexion entre une cause et un effet de cette manière peut également être appelée un lien de causalité.
