Déportation

La déportation est l'expulsion d'une personne ou d'un groupe de personnes d'un lieu ou d'un pays. Aujourd'hui, l'expulsion de ressortissants étrangers est généralement appelée déportation, alors que l'expulsion des ressortissants s'appelle le bannissement, l'exil ou le transport pénal. La déportation est une pratique ancienne: Khosrau I, Sassanid, roi de Perse, déporté 292 000 citoyens, esclaves et conquérants à la nouvelle ville de Ctesiphon en 542 C.E.
