Condition cutanée

Une condition cutanée est un état médical qui affecte le système tégumentaire - le système organique qui renferme le corps et comprend la peau, les cheveux, les ongles et les muscles et les glandes apparentés. La principale fonction de ce système est une barrière contre l'environnement externe. Les conditions du système tégumentaire humain constituent un large éventail de maladies, également connues sous le nom de dermatoses, ainsi que de nombreux états non pathologiques. Alors que seul un petit nombre de maladies de la peau représentent la plupart des visites chez le médecin, des milliers de conditions cutanées ont été décrites. La classification de ces conditions présente souvent de nombreux défis nosologiques, puisque les étiologies sous-jacentes et les pathogénétiques sont souvent ignorées. Par conséquent, la plupart des manuels scolaires actuels présentent une classification fondée sur l'emplacement, la morphologie, l'étiologie, etc. Cliniquement, le diagnostic d'un état de peau particulier est effectué en recueillant des informations pertinentes concernant la lésion cutanée, y compris l'emplacement, les symptômes, la durée, l'arrangement, la morphologie et la couleur.
