Startle response

La réponse de la gêne est une réponse défensive aux stimuli soudains ou menaçants et est associée à un effet négatif. Habituellement, le déclenchement de la réaction de startle est réfléchissant. Le réflexe de sourit est une réaction réfléchissante du système nerveux central qui sert à protéger l'arrière du cou ou de l'oeil et facilite l'échappatoire contre les stimuli soudains. The startle response is a defensive response to sudden or threatening stimuli, and is associated with negative affect. Usually the onset of the startle response is reflectory. The startle reflex is a brainstem reflectory reaction that serves to protect the back of the neck or the eye and facilitates escape from sudden stimuli. It is found across the lifespan and in many species. An individual's emotional state may lead to a variety of responses.
