En outre, il s'agit d'une forme de guerre relativement peu coûteuse qui ne nécessite pas une grande quantité de formation. Un subversif est quelque chose ou quelqu'un portant le potentiel pour un certain degré de subversion. Dans ce contexte, un «subversif» est parfois appelé «traître» par rapport au gouvernement au pouvoir.
