Consul
Consulul a fost cel mai înalt birou alegerat al Republicii Romane și un oficiu numit în cadrul Imperiului. Titlul a fost folosit și în alte state ale orașului și, de asemenea, a fost reînviat în statele moderne, în special în prima Republică Franceză. Adjectivul asociat este consular, de la Consularul latin.
