Excursie
O excursie este o excursie de către un grup de oameni, de obicei făcute pentru petrecerea timpului liber, educație sau scopuri fizice. Este adesea un adjunct al unei călătorii mai lungi sau o vizită într-un loc, câteodată în alte scopuri. Companiile de transport public eliberează bilete de preț reduse pentru a atrage afaceri de acest tip. Adesea, aceste bilete se limitează la zile sau ore în afara orelor de vârf pentru destinația respectivă. Excursii scurte pentru educație sau pentru observarea fenomenelor naturale sunt numite excursii în câmp. Studiile de teren de învățământ de o zi sunt adesea făcute de clase ca exerciții extrașcolare, de ex. pentru a vizita o caracteristică naturală sau geografică. Termenul este folosit și pentru mișcările militare scurte pe teritoriul străin, fără anunțarea oficială a războiului.
