Valabilitate
În logică, un argument este valabil dacă și numai dacă încheierea lui este logic implicată de premisele sale. O formulă este validă dacă și numai dacă este adevărată în orice interpretare și o formă de argument este validă dacă și numai dacă fiecare argument al acelei forme logice este valabil.

Prima definiție a valabilității în dicționar este starea sau calitatea de a fi veridic sau precis. O altă definiție a valabilității este starea sau calitatea de a fi conștient sau convingător. Valabilitatea este, de asemenea, faptul sau calitatea de a fi acceptabil din punct de vedere legal.
