Un jug este un fascicul de lemn utilizat în mod obișnuit între o pereche de boi sau alte animale pentru a le permite să tragă împreună pe o încărcătură atunci când lucrează în perechi, cum fac de obicei boul; unele juguri sunt montate pe animale individuale. Există mai multe tipuri de jug, folosite în culturi diferite și pentru diferite tipuri de boi. O pereche de boi poate fi numită un jug de boi, iar jugul este de asemenea un verb, ca și în "a jugni o pereche de boi". Alte animale care pot fi înghițite includ cai, catâri, măgari și bivolițe de apă.
