Colonization
Colonization - the settlement of virgin lands or the capture of foreign territories with their subsequent settlement. "Internal colonization" - the settlement and economic development of free lands on the borders of their own country. Internal colonization has been used in some countries to suppress national minorities. "External colonization" - the creation of settlements outside of their country, sometimes associated with the conquest or extermination of the local population. The process of colonization of land took place in the second half of the 16th century, mainly in the east and south-east. Colonization was folk and feudal.
