Caution

Traditionnellement, la caution est une forme de propriété déposée ou promulguée à un tribunal pour la persuader de libérer un suspect de la prison, étant entendu que le suspect retournera pour le procès ou renonce à la caution. Dans certains cas, les fonds de cautionnement peuvent être retournés à la fin du procès, si toutes les comparutions judiciaires sont faites, que la personne soit reconnue coupable ou non coupable du crime accusé. Si un emprunteur est utilisé et qu'une caution a été obtenue, les frais de cette caution sont les frais pour la police d'assurance achetés et ne sont pas remboursables.
