Uscare
Uscarea este un procedeu de transfer de masă constând în îndepărtarea apei sau a altui solvent prin evaporarea unui solid, semi-solid sau lichid. Acest proces este adesea folosit ca un pas final de producție înainte de vânzarea sau ambalarea produselor. Pentru a fi considerat "uscat", produsul final trebuie să fie solid, sub formă de foaie continuă, bucăți lungi, particule sau pulbere. O sursă de căldură și un agent pentru îndepărtarea vaporilor produsi de proces sunt deseori implicați.
