Collage este o tehnică a unei producții de artă, folosită în primul rând în artele vizuale, unde opera de artă este realizată dintr-o asamblare de diferite forme, creând astfel un întreg. Un colaj poate include uneori tăieri pentru reviste și ziare, panglici, vopsea, bucăți de hârtie colorată sau manuală, porțiuni de alte lucrări de artă sau texte, fotografii și alte obiecte găsite, lipite pe o bucată de hârtie sau pe panza. Originile colajului pot fi urmărite de sute de ani, însă această tehnică a reapărut o dramatică la începutul secolului al XX-lea ca o formă de noutate a artei. Termenul de colaj derivă din francezul "coller". Acest termen a fost inventat atât de Georges Braque, cât și de Pablo Picasso la începutul secolului al XX-lea, când colajul a devenit o parte distinctivă a artei moderne.
