Enemy

Enemigo

Enemy is the radical expression of enmity, exaggerated antagonism or extreme disagreement, unbearable and intolerant among social, political, religious, etc. A person or group of people, who oppose another group of people because of their ideas, thoughts, activities or radical political reasons such as invading another country for the capture of their natural resources, is considered an enemy. In the case of the Declaration of War it is considered as an enemy to the armed forces of another country and, depending on the rules of engagement, its civilians as hostile. When an enemy of the opposing side is captured, it may be considered a prisoner of war, which must be treated in accordance with the Geneva Conventions if the parties are subscribed. In World War II Imperial Japan did not adhere to the conventions of Geneva and carried out innumerable acts of barbarism against its prisoners of war, especially to those naufragos of boats sunk by the weapon of submarines as it is the case of the I -26 and I-8.
