Audierea, percepția auditivă sau audiția este abilitatea de a percepe sunetul prin detectarea vibrațiilor, a schimbărilor în presiunea mediului înconjurător în timp, printr-un organ cum ar fi urechea. Sunetul poate fi auzit prin substanțe solide, lichide sau gazoase. Este unul dintre cele cinci simțuri tradiționale. Incapacitatea de a auzi se numește surzenie.
